Whether it’s feature films, short films or music videos, Croatian Cinematographer and Director of Photography Hrvoje Bazina enjoys helping his gaffers and grips set up the lights on set for each shoot.
“As a cinematographer, this is why I have a pair of Gig Gloves —they keep my hands safe during these tasks,” Bazina said. “I love some of the little details they thought about when designing these gloves, including making the fingertips work on touchscreens.”
Thanks to the removable fingertips feature of Gig Gloves, Hrvoje never has to take his gloves off when working on set.
“What I love about them is that they’re not in my way,” he explained. “I can keep them on all day due to the touchscreen fingertips. This is a big deal to me as RED cameras have a touchscreen on them that I use to change settings. It’s also helpful for me as I like to check the shotlists on my iPhone while we’re shooting.”
Hrvoje also find the removable fingertips useful when looking to make adjustments to smaller objects.
“You can even take off your thumb, index and middle finger if you just have to fiddle around with smaller items such as screws.”
